Post-run snack

After a late run last night, I was craving something a little salty but light. I made a quick miso soup with mushrooms and green onions and it was perfect!

  1. It does look perfect! I’ve been dying to try miso, but I’m afraid I won’t like it… Can you compare the taste to a regular vegetable stock? Or is it something completely different?

    1. Good question! I would compare it to a vegetable stock but slightly nutty. The lighter the miso paste you get, the milder it will be so maybe a white miso would be a good place for you to start to see if it suits your taste. Definitely give it a try.
